Abraham Jones, 69 of Indianapolis, died December 26, 2009. Abraham was born to the late Ira and Elsie Jones in Crenshaw, MI. He retired from Ryder in January 2000 after 34 years. Abraham attended Kingsley Terrace Church of Christ where he was a Sunday school teacher. Survivors include his loving daughter, Renetha (Roosevelt) Avery; three brothers, Oscar (Della), Charles Frances, Ira (Delouis) Jones; one sister, Mary Lee Bracy; two granddaughters, Antwinette and Alisha Avery, and a host of nieces and nephews. Family and Friends will gather at Kingsley Terrace Church of Christ, 2031 E. 30th Street, Indianapolis, IN. on Thursday, December 31, 2009 from 9:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. with a service following at 11:00 A.M. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
