Ada F. Howton Leach, age 91, of Indianapolis, passed away August 12, 2012. The daughter of John Wesley and Maggie Mattox Howton, Ada was born January 28, 1921 in Goodwin, Arkansas.
Ada was a retired assembler with Western Electric.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, Indiana. Burial will follow services.
Ada is survived by a son, Joe Burnett of Arkansas; two daughters, Elizabeth Caywood of Chicago, Illinois and Laura Basore of Indianapolis; stepdaughter, Sandra Strunk of Indianapolis; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Ada was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Leach; brothers, Joseph and Robert Howton and sister, Dorothy Smith.
