Albert L. Brim, Jr., age 70, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016 at his home with his family at his side. Albert was born September 11, 1945 in Indianapolis to Albert L. and Mildred (Dameron) Brim. He attended Arsenal Tech High School and was employed at Chrysler where he retired in May, 2000. He was a member of U.A.W. Local # 550, and he was an avid fisherman. He painted homes as a sideline and was a NASCAR fan.
Albert married the former Cordelia Hutchinson in March 1963 and she preceded him in death in December, 1977. Albert was also preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carla Pigeon. Albert is survived by his sons, Randall (Marlena) Brim, of Indianapolis and Douglas (Jamie) Brim, of Greenwood; daughter, Tamara (Stephen Davenport) Brim, of Nineveh; brother, John (Sandy) Brim, of McCordsville; sisters, Gayle (Max) Ewing, of Lawrence and Glenda Brim, of Naples, FL; 5 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren; best friend and caregiver, Debra Collins.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 29, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Autism Society of Indiana, 3951 N Meridian St #220, Indianapolis, IN 46208.
