Albert Erwin Johnson, 93, of Concord, North Carolina, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at The Gardens of Taylor Glen in Concord.
Al was born April 11, 1929, in Ishpeming, MI to the late Wallace and Jennie Edla Koskela Johnson.  Al was preceded in passing by his first wife, Royce Darlene Johnson; his daughter, Rochelle Johnson and his brother, Melvin Johnson.
Al was a veteran and proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Air Force.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 31 years, Carole Elizabeth Johnson of Concord; his son, Brandon (Katrina) Johnson of Nashville, IN; his daughter, Robyn (Randy) Roller of Indianapolis, IN; a step-daughter, Dawn (Mark) Shannon of Charlotte, NC; a step-son, Craig (Tammi) Wagner of Greenwood, IN; his grandchildren, Ethan Johnson, Rachel (Kal) Valastek, Ryan (Lauren) Roller, Rhea (Zach) Watson, Renee (Clay) Rackley; step-grandchildren, Sean, Nate, and Jeff Wagner and Mo and Ellie Mow; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Monday, June 20, 2022 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with Pastor Tim Lanigan will officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of service Monday.
Al will be laid to rest with military honors at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
