Aldron K. Coffey, age 79, passed away Sunday Dec. 6 after an extended bout with cancer. He was born in Ono, KY to Elza Roe and Lois Pearl Coffey. He was preceded in death by his 5 siblings. Al was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a traffic manager for Aero Mayflower, a warehouse manager for AAA Warehouses and a part time service driver for Bob Rohrman Auto Sales. He is survived by his wife Helois June and their 3 sons, Randall, Stephen and David Coffey (Susan Goen) and their 4 children, Nicholas, Jacob, Ian and Allison Coffey. Visitation will be Wednesday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 4-8:00PM and on Thursday from 10AM to service time 11:00AM at Southport Christian Church with Rev. Douglas Lofton officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The family requests contributions to be made to Southport Christian Church Memorial Fund.
