Alice Mae Cole, age 81, of Greenwood, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013. She was born June 25, 1931 in Rushville, IN to Francis S. and Geneva (Hileman) Wall. She graduated from Morristown High School and was a Senior Underwriter for a number of insurance companies.
Alice was an avid fisherwoman and loved to talk and spend time with her family. She was a founding member of Indian Creek Christian Church and a former member of Shiloh Christian Church. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, Shiloh Christian Church Ladies Aux., Blue River Motorcycle Ladies Aux., and worked with the Hancock Co. 4-H Club.
She married Carter Cole on August 6, 1949 and he preceded her in death on May 2, 2003. She is survived by her sons, Michael (Brenda) Cole, of New Castle, IN and Charles (Linda) Cole, of Lawrenceburg, IN; daughters, Pamala (Leo) Bergeron, of Crown Point, IN, Karen (Fred) Wainscott, of Fountaintown, IN, Jeanine Kinser, of Beech Grove, IN Kimberly (Steve) Fitch, of Greenwood, IN; brothers, Ralph (Linda) Wall, of Kokomo, IN and David (Charlene) Wall, of Brown Co., IN; sister, Jeannie (Marvin) Engleking, of Charlottesville, IN; 18 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with visitation from Noon to service time. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
