Allen Wayne Kinser, Sr, age 70, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 at I.U. Health Methodist Hospital. Allen was born March 26, 1945 in Indianapolis to Clarence and Helen (Miller) Kinser. Allen was a painter for many years. He attended The Father''s House Church. He loved to fish and making walking sticks and canes for his friends and the family. His greatest love was for his wife, the former Bonnie Morris, whom he married on October 30, 1964.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie, as well as his sons, Allen W. (Julie) Kinser, Jr. of Indianapolis, and Greg L. (companion, Cris Loveall) Kinser, of Indianapolis; sisters, Clara (Bob) Warren of Palmetto, FL, Shirley Kinser, of Indianapolis, Paula (Mike)Auer, of Monrovia, and Becky Ferree of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Jesse (Chryste) McDonald, Ryan Brown, Nikki (fiance'' Kyle Curtis) Kinser, and Aryah Kinser; great grandchildren, Taylor McDonald, Peyton Brown, Nixon and Ryker Curtis; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles Kinser.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with entombment to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 15 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association.
