Alma Bea Simpson, age 91, of Greenwood, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015 with her family at her side. Alma was born April 14, 1923 in Bethpage, TN to Flossie Alma Key. She worked for Hygrade Packing for many years and later for the Perry Township School Corporation.Alma married William Hayden Simpson in Franklin, KY in December 1940 and he preceded her in death in January, 1992. She was an avid reader who also loved to garden, fish and sew. She babysat for many children throughout the years and loved to spend time with her family.

Alma is survived by her sons, William D. (Bonnie) Simpson and Arlin Simpson; daughter, Linda S. (Dennis) Lade; 10 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Allen R. Key.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer''s Association, or to Autism Speaks.
