Anita M. Mullins Chinn, 78, of Franklin, passed away May 12, 2014 at Johnson Memorial Hospital. The daughter of John and Thelma Martin Mullins, Anita was born January 31, 1936 in Russell, Kentucky.

Anita attended Northern Park Baptist Church in Greenwood. She retired in 1997 as a nurse''s aide from University Heights Health & Living, Indianapolis.

Anita is survived by daughter, Johnda (Chip) Hurkmans of Franklin; sister, Ada Pine of Huntington, WV; four grandchildren, Jamie Justice, John, Jeremy and Corbin Chinn; several great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Lee Chinn; brothers, John Mullins, Jr. and Ron Mullins and sister, Betty Sweeney.

Pastor Allen Pierce will conduct funeral services 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, where friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Burial at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
