Anna M. Harrold, 87 of Cumberland passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023. She was born to the
late Chester and Edith Kaserman on October 24, 1935.

Anna was a lady full of grace and mercy, a true Proverbs 31 woman. Her first love was Jesus
Christ, but her one true love on earth was her husband, John Andrew Harrold, Sr.

Anna's passion was sharing the love of Jesus Christ. Her passion was first seen through the love
she demonstrated to her family, being involved in her children's and grandchildren's lives. She
shared her faith with them, along with attending their various sporting events and school
performances. She also did this through her teaching, both as a public-school teacher and a
Bible teacher of child and adults. She was a member of Old Bethel United Methodist Church.

Anna taught at several schools in Indiana and out of state, but most of her teaching experience
was in the Southern Hancock School Corporation. Once she retired her desire to affect the lives
of children in the name of Jesus continued and she wrote a series of books entitled, "The Giant
Slayers."

Anna is survived by her two children John (Wendy) Harrold Jr. and Rebekah (Kenneth) Overbey,
two grandchildren John Harrold III and Caden Overbey. She is preceded by both parents; her
husband John Harrold, Sr. (2020); a sister Marjorie Barrick, and a brother Roy Kaserman.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 8 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at Forest Lawn
Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at Noon at the funeral home. Anna will be laid to rest
next to her husband John at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
