Anne Shirley Natterstad 83, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at her home in Chandler, Arizona after a year-long battle with cancer. She was born on November 11, 1926 in Moosejaw, Saskatchewan, Canada to Jesse Horton and Mary Cleghorn Horton. She moved to Indianapolis, Indiana as an infant. She graduated from Manual Training High School in 1944. Her marriage to Donald Natterstad occurred on May 5, 1951 and they were blessed to celebrate their 59th wedding anniversary just before her passing. Anne worked in the Meridian Middle School Cafeteria for many wonderful years and enjoyed the lasting friendships she made there with her coworkers. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church for several decades. Anne was a wonderful wife and loving mother, and will be missed dearly by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Donald; her daughter, Tina (Jesse) Galloway; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen, on February 15, 2002, her son, Brian, on April 4, 2005, and her daughter, Cheryl Glascock on November 8, 2005. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 25th at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens & Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN. Entombment at Forest Lawn will follow immediately. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
