Anthony Dixon, 42, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2011. Tony was born on January 10, 1969 in Marion County to Patricia Faye (Burchfield) Dixon and the late Mack Henry Neal Dixon.
Tony was employed for Red Roof Inn for 25 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and hunting, as well as playing guitar and making people laugh. He was a loving husband, son, brother, father, and friend to all who knew him and his big heart will be sadly missed.
Tony is survived by his wife, Tammy Closson; mother Patricia Dixon; son James Dean Dixon; brothers: Timothy Dixon (Rachelle) and Allen Dixon (Tina); and sister Tammy Goode (Phillip) several nieces and nephews and lots of friends.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 25, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood with the funeral service immediately following. www.forestlawncemetery-fh.com.
