Anthony "Vince" Vincent Corliss, Indianapolis, passed away on the evening of Sunday, March 12, 2023. He was 60 years old. Vince was born in Beech Grove, IN to his parents Charles and Mary Corliss. He graduated from Greenwood High School, class of 1981.
Vince worked as a Sheriff Deputy for the Johnson County Sheriff Department and retired in 2017 after 20 years of service. Vince was a member, and served as the treasurer, for the Federal Order of Police (F.O.P.) for several years. Vince enjoyed boating and most outdoor activities. Vince had a passion for classic cars and enjoyed working on his own classic chevy chevelle in his spare time. Vince loved spending time with his family and the memories created will now be cherished by those he leaves behind.
Vince is survived by his children, Brittany (Joe) Zimmerman and Braden (Avery) Corliss, who are expecting their first child; his grandchildren, Adalynn Zimmerman, Josiah Zimmerman, and Nathaniel Zimmerman; his mother, Mary Corliss; his siblings, Charles (Sandy) Corliss, Doug (Crystal) Corliss, Don Corliss, and Joe (Lisa) Corliss; his several nieces and nephews.
Vince is preceded in death by his father, Charles Corliss; his grandchild, Elijah Zimmerman.
A visitation for Vince will be held on Monday March 20, 2023 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, March 21, 2023  at 10:00 am. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at 11:00 am.
