Arleene Yvonne (Parke) Stogsdill, 87, of Franklin passed away December 22, 2016. Yvonne was born in Spurgeon, IN on May 24, 1929 to Winfrey and Allene (Hopper) Parke.

She was a resident of Franklin United Methodist Community. Yvonne married Edward E. Stogsdill on May 17, 1952. She worked for 36 years at Westen Electric in Indianapolis retiring in 1984.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband in 2003, three infant sisters and one brother, Kelly Parke.

Yvonne is survived by her daughters, Jackie (Dennis Holliday) Nobles of Jamesville, North Carolina and Sheila (Mark) Stanifer of Greenwood; brothers, Max, Ray, and Ron Parke; sisters, Doris McKinney, Rita Brown, Linda Liles, Judy Gwaltney and Nina Boyer; four grandchildren, Shannon (Rob) Mohorc of San Diego, California, Stanton Nobles of Belmont, North Carolina, Erin (Kyle) Gobel of Crawfordsville, IN and Evan (Patricia) Stanifer of Greenwood and three great grandchildren, Vera Gobel, Luke and Grant Stanifer.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, January 16 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am with a service at 11:00 am at Southport Presbyterian Church, 7525 McFarland Blvd., Indianapolis, IN 46237.
