Arnold F. Hussung, 85, of Greenwood, passed away October 18, 2013. The son of Albert Sr. and Gertrude A. Coats Hussung, Arnold was born February 26, 1928 in Indianapolis.
He retired in 1982 from Indiana Bell Telephone Company. He was a member of Whiteland United Methodist Church and the Telephone Pioneers of America. Arnold served briefly in the United States Navy. He was a member of a bowling league at Sport Bowl, enjoyed golfing, fishing and pitching horse shoes. Arnold was a Chicago Cubs and Atlanta Braves fan.
Arnold is survived by his wife, Mary E. Michelfelder Hussung of Greenwood; sons, John F. Hussung of Greenwood and Dennis (Gayle) Hussung of Nederland, Texas; daughter, Rebecca (Emery) Abner of New Whiteland; brother, Richard Hussung of Whitestown; sister, Phyllis Hussung of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Joe, Eric, Melissa, John Jr., Mike and Bryan; ten great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Albert Hussung, Jr. and a sister, Doris Fall.
Graveside services 2:00 p.m. October 22, 2013 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood. Friends may call from noon to time of services at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood.
