Arthur W Pinkston's Obituary
Arthur W. Pinkston, 87, of Beech Grove passed away March 28, 2017. He was born in Terre Haute, IN on February 16, 1930 to William E. and Henrietta H. (Hage) Pinkston.
Arthur enjoyed spending time with his family and watching sports. He graduated from Wiley High School, where he also played football. Arthur proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was a member of the VFW in Beech Grove. He worked for National Starch and Chemical in 1968 until retirement.
He was preceded in death by a daughter and a grandson.
Arthur is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Helen Pinkston; sons, Jerry (Terri) and Mike (Patti) Pinkston; daughters, Donna (Tim) Smith and Brenda (Walt) Colbert; 11 grandchildren and 19 great great grandchildren.
A private family graveside service will be held on Monday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children''s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
