Azaiah Ray Welch passed away in the arms of family on December 25, 2023. He was born on September 4, 2023 to his parents William Welch and Cara Schmidt of Indianapolis, IN. Azaiah's family will always remember his beautiful smile and gingerly coos. Azaiah gave us a lifetime of love during his short time on earth. He brought immense joy to every life he touched during his time on Earth.
He is survived by his parents; his siblings, Xzavier Welch and Jordan Welch;  grandparents, Destinny Welch and Cindy Schmidt; great grandparents, William Ramsey and Carol Schmidt; aunts and uncles, Isabella Schmidt, Savannah Schmidt, Dereatha Light, Bentlee Schmidt and Nathan Schmidt; several cousins; his dog, Batman.
A visitation for Azaiah will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Church of the Nazarene Southport, Address: 920 E Southport Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46227 from 9:30 am to 12:30 am. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 12:30 pm. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at 2:00 pm where he will be laid to rest with his GiGi, Dereatha Ramsey.
