Launa Chester, age 70, of Trafalgar, passed away Friday, December 17, at her home. She was born April 15, 1940 in Middlesboro, KY to Walter J. and Rosetta (Dickey) Sutton. She was a homemaker who loved to crochet, cook, read, and spend time with her grandson. She married James T. (Jim) Chester September 9, 1964 and he survives along with her mother, Rosetta; sons, Charles, Michael, Walter "Sean" Chester; daughter, Crystal (Chris) Peterson; brothers, David (Linda), and Dennis (Charlene) Sutton; sister, Dorothy Martin; 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, James Sutton. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 22 at 1:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with entombment to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation is Monday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contribution can be made to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital
