Bailey Thomas Wade's Obituary
Bailey Thomas Wade, 90 of Indianapolis passed away May 23, 2013. He was born July 11, 1922 to the late Claude T. and Maud (McFarland) Wade.
He graduated from West High School in Columbus, Ohio. On May 9, 1943, he married Gwen Montgomery in Seymour, IN. She preceded him in death on January 3, 2004. Bailey earned his Bachelors'' degree from Kent State University and his Masters Degree in Mathematics from Franklin College. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army WWII. He was a member of Franklin Community Church, where he taught children''s Sunday school. He was also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Magicians and the Society of American Magicians. Bailey also volunteered at the Wheeler Mission, working with the children.
Survivors are a daughter, Kimberly Wade; a niece and two nephews. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Smith; a brother, Gerald C. Wade; and a step sister, Mary Paxton.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
