Barbara Junell Abner, 77 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on January 29, 2019. Barbara was born in Clay County, Tennessee on March 20, 1941 to Carl Cherry and Ruby G. Asberry. Barbara was a fun loving and caring woman. She enjoyed watching cowboy shows and wrestling. Barbara liked to take scenic drives and enjoyed girl's night out when she was able. She was known to have a sweet tooth, especially her orange slices and three musketeers. Barbara was dedicated to her family and was a great mother. She will be greatly missed.

Barbara leaves behind to cherish her memory,  her beloved daughter, Angela Maxey; grandsons, Zachery (Destiny) Connor, Ezakiel Connor and Thomas Maxey; great grandchildren, Benjamin Connor and Annalya Connor; sister, Betty Kiger; brother, Garry (Beverly) Asberry and lots of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Naomi Newman, David Cherry and Carolyn WIlmoth
