Barbara L. Cobb, age 72 of Indianapolis, died on Sunday, August 9, 2009, at Wishard Hospital. Born June 22, 1937, she was the daughter of James R. Cox and Helen Horton. Barbara retired from Allison Prophet Foods in Indianapolis after 25 years of service. Survivors include a son James William "Butch" Desper, Jr. and a daughter Terry Cash. Also surviving are two grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Services will be Noon Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135 in Greenwood, IN 46143.
