Barbara S. Grubbs, 84 passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, October 15, 2023.  She was born to the late Harold and Glendyn "Muzzy"(Tingle) Roempke.  Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She loved being outdoors, playing with her grandchildren, and planning family get togethers for all of the holidays.     Barbara fell in love on the first date and married her forever love Charlie on October 13, 1962.  She worked at Eli Lilly in the Elizabeth Arden Department and the Sales Training Department.  She is survived by her son Steve (Julie) Grubbs; daughter Debbie (Dan) Janik; grandchildren Eric, Hanna ( Forrest), Ben, Amber and one great grandchild Reagan.  Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Charlie, by both parents, sister Jody Rice and grandson Nathan Janik. A visitation for Barbara will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 12:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at 1:00 pm.
