Barbara J. Oliver Hanley, 83, of Indianapolis, passed away August 6, 2012. Barbara was born November 26, 1928 in Indianapolis.
A member of the Fraternal Order of Police, she was a retired police officer with the Indianapolis Police Department.
Barbara is survived by her son, Daniel A. Hanley; granddaughters, Amber Nixon and Kristen Hanley; great-granddaughter, Madeline Nixon.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. August 9, 2012 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Private burial in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
