Barbara Ann Jackson, 79 of Indianapolis passed away on February 7, 2019. Barbara was born on December 22, 1939 in Indianapolis, IN to Virgil and Virginia Whitecotton. Barbara will be known for her eccentric witty demeanor. Barbara loved decorating, bargain shopping; she was a great cook, a music lover, she was a fashionista. She collected chickens. She loved her yard and made sure her lawn was mowed perfectly. Barbara was a great friend, an even better mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Barbara is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gene Jackson in 1993; her parents, Virgil and Virginia Whitecotton; and siblings, Betty Deckard, Bob Whitecotton and Tommy Whitecotton.

Barbara is survived by her daughters, Diane (Jeff) Moore and Janice (Paul) Mrozinski; grandchildren, Scott (Cara) Hunt, Jeffrey Hunt, Chad (Margaret) Hunt, Nick Sharpless, Dustin Sharpless and Lindsay (David) Sall; great grandchildren, Ethan Hunt, Ella Hunt, Emery Hunt, Owen Hunt, Caylin Pereau and David Sall, Jr.
