Barbara Jean Jones, of Indianapolis, IN went to be with the Lord at the age of 83 On September 1, 2021. She was born September 17, 1937, in Lafayette, TN.

She worked as a paralegal until she retired from American United Life at the age of 65.

Barbara is proceeded in death by her father William Swindle; mother Vondell Swindle; brother Jack Swindle and sister Connie Faye Lackey.
She is survived by her loving husband of years, Kenneth Ray Jones; son Keith (Lisa) Jones of London, Ohio; grandchildren Derek (Leslie) Jones, Jennifer (Ronald) Greenhill both of London, Ohio; five great grandchildren who called her Grandma Sugar Cameron Greenhill, Hannah Jones, Carson Greenhill, Morgan Jones and Cuyler Greenhill and her four legged furry grandson Alfie Jones. Sister in law Cathy Swindle , Wilma Franklin and Carolyn (Buddy Whitaker) Ross ; brother in law Bruce Lackey and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara Jean was avid sports fan who loved the Chicago Cubs and NACAR especially her favorite driver Bill Elliott.

A gathering for immediate family will be held at Noon in Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Forest Lawn Funeral and Memory Gardens.
