Barbara Jean Sleeth, 80, of Southport passed away November 6, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital & Healthcare in Indianapolis, IN. Mrs. Sleeth was born on March 25, 1928 to the late Charles and Alice Della Heitman Hughes in Indianapolis. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Jack L. Sleeth and one great grandchild. Leaving behind to celebrate her life are her sons, Mike (Linda) Sleeth of Pleasant Prairie, WI, Robert (Denise) Sleeth of Indianapolis; daughter, Susan Roembke of Southport, Kathie (Irving) Cummings of Indianapolis; brother, Thomas Hughes of Indianapolis; sister, Shirley (Charles) Metzler of New Whiteland, 10 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Sleeth will be Monday, November 10 from 12-2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, IN 46143 with the service commencing at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
