Barbara G. "Bobby" Roaden, 82, of Indianapolis passed away November 18, 2015. The daughter of Marion and Dessie Thompson Smith, Barbara was born August 12, 1933 in Rockcastle County, Kentucky.

A homemaker, Bobby had worked as a clerk with the former Indiana National Bank and then as a clerk with the Indiana Department of Revenue. She was a member of Decatur Township Church of Christ. Bobby loved singing and enjoyed playing Rook, UNO and Rummy. A great joy was in visiting with her many friends.

Bobby is survived by her husband, Harold Roaden, whom she married on March 1, 1954; son, Bruce Roaden of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Kim (Curtis) Landry of Indialantic, FL; brothers, Lawrence (Alene) Smith of Cincinnati, OH and Harold Smith of Dayton, OH; sister, Mary Roberts of Erlanger, KY; sister-in-law, Edith Smith of Cincinnati, OH. In addition to her parents, Bobby was preceded in death by a brother, Marion Smith.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. November 21, 2015 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Friends may call from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. November 20th at the funeral home. Burial at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
