Barbara Montgomery (Young) Montgomery's Obituary
Barbara Jean Young Montgomery, 73, of Indianapolis, passed away March 6, 2013. The daughter of W. Paul and Laura J. Hadley Young, Barbara was born July 2, 1939 in Indianapolis.
Barbara retired as a mail clerk with the Indiana Department of Revenue. She was a member of Chapel Rock Christian Church and the Millersville Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.
A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. March 11, 2013 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Burial will follow services.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Beth A. (John) Kieper of Indianapolis; sister, Beverly J. Shaw of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Brianne E. (Shannon) Lancaster, Bradley S. Kieper and Brooke M. Kieper; and great grandson, Judah K. Lancaster. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred W. Montgomery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Little Red Door Cancer Agency - 1801 North Meridian Street Indianapolis, Indiana 46202.
