Benjamin "Ben" L. Batts, 30 of Franklin passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023. He was born to Alan Batts and Michelle Tester on June 5th, 1992. Born in Johnson County Indiana.


Ben is survived by his parents Alan (Gloria) Batts and Michelle Tester; siblings Matthew J. Tester, Jessicca Tester (Steve Witt), Heather (Jason) Jones, Shawn (Jeff Meyer) Smith, Rusty Batts and Joshua Slevin; girlfriend Christen Wiseman; 10 nieces and nephews and maternal grandmother Diana (Delisle) Harris.

Ben was a 4 time National Champion in freestyle and precision flying and internationally recognized for his talents. Flying had been his lifelong passion and he spent many weekends traveling to do what he loved. He was employed by Natchi America Inc.

Everyone that met Ben loved him and he was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by maternal grandfather Larry D. Harris, paternal grandparents Louis and Beulah Batts, sister in law Heidi Batts, a nephew Maverick Meyer and an uncle Todd C. Harris.
