Bernice Gipson Crawford, 80, of Indianapolis, passed away February 24, 2013 at Christina House in Franklin, Indiana. The daughter of Fonce and Arlene Bewley Gipson, Bernice was born March 20, 1932 in Edmonson County, Kentucky.

A retired secretary with the Indianapolis Baptist Temple, Bernice also owned and operated Bernice''s Hairstyle in Beech Grove.

Memorial services 5:00 p.m. February 26, 2013 in The Life Center at Southport - 4002 East Southport Road, where friends may call from 2:00 p.m. to service time. Inurnment will be in Auburn Cemetery, Auburn, Kentucky at a later date.

Bernice is survived by her husband, Paul; daughter, Faith Ann (Daniel J.) Goff; granddaughter, Rachel C. (Kenny) Embry; great-grandsons, AJ and Peyton Young; brothers, Dan and Dean Gipson; sisters, Myrtle Scarbrough, Rosemary Miller, Phyllis Milliner, Paulette Scarbrough and Martha Roberson. Besides her parents, Bernice was preceded in death by a daughter, Paula Jean Crawford; sister, Lillian Kersey and granddaughter, Taylor Katherine Goff.
