Bernice L. Lucas, 79 of Greenwood, IN passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022. She was born to the late Willie and Vergie Capshaw in Tompkinsville, KY.

Bernice was very crafty and a stylish dresser. Bernice was known to make quilts and taking first place at the Johnson County and Indiana State Fairs.

Bernice is survived by her son, Steven (Theresa) Lucas, son-in-law, Ronnie Spencer, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lucas (2010) and her daughter, Teresa (Lucas) Spencer (2022).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 17th from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, February 18th. There will be a short visitation from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon before the services. Bernice will be laid to rest next to her husband, Robert Lucas.
