Bernice W. Modesitt, 79, of Indianapolis died Friday, April 30, 2010. Bernice was born to the late Harry and Violet Anderson Hinsley in Indianapolis on November 13, 1930. Bernice married Cletis Modesitt in 1949 and he survives. Also surviving are four daughters and a son-in-law: Lovne Barnes, Patty & Larry Adair, Mulissa Foster, and Mulinda Modesitt. Three sons and a daughter-in-law: Cleve & Anita Modesitt, Harry Modesitt, and Joseph Modesitt. One sister: Lillian Smith. Two brothers: Jack Hinsley, and Bruce Hinsley. 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She is preceded by her parents, one son: Steven Modesitt, one brother: Curtis Hines, one sister: Beverley Sue. Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM till time of service at 1:00 PM Monday at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens and Funeral Home, Greenwood, IN. Entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
