Bessie May Miller, age 88, of Greenwood, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 with her loving family at her side. She was born July 14, 1926 in Glasgow, KY to Herbert and Lily (Green) Foster. She married Wayne Miller on March 24, 1951 and they spent 64 years together. Bessie was a member of St. John''s United Church of Christ. She was a former member of the Dorcas Circle with the church and she was an avid crotchetier. She loved to sew and work in her flower garden, but her greatest love was to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed by all who know and love her.

Bessie is survived by her husband, Wayne; sons, James (Barbara) Miller, of Middleton, OH, Charles (Judy) Miller, and Allen (Deborah) Miller, of Greenwood and David (Tracy) Miller, of Burlington; daughter, Annette (Kevin) Lacy, of Franklin; 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with entombment to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army of Greenwood.
