Mrs. Betty Ellen Andrews, Indianapolis, passed away on the late evening of Monday, January 31, 2022. She was 93. Betty was born April 6, 1928 in Bartholemew County, Indiana, a daughter of the late Paul and Pauline (Thomas) Scott.
Betty was a graduate of the Clifford High School in Clifford, Indiana and work been a life-long seamstress having retired from L..S Ayres and Company after several years of service.
Betty is survived by her son, Jerry (Ruth) Andrews; her grandchildren, Danita (Jay) Wiggington, Sue (Sherry) McMichael, Christopher Andrews and Betty Snell; 11 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in passing by her former spouse, Verlan Andrews; her sons, Kevin Andrews and Douglas Andrews; a granddaughter, Sherry Wilkerson as well as several siblings.
There will be no services per the wishes of the family.
