Betty M. Hoover, 81, of Indianapolis, passed away April 17, 2014. The daughter of Frank K. and Cora I. Rank Dougherty, Betty was born March 7, 1933 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

A homemaker, Betty enjoyed fishing, bowling and cooking.

Betty is survived by her children, Michael Hoover of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Janet Freeman of Bloomington and Judy Marine of Indianapolis; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton T. Hoover, whom she married on August 24, 1949 in Indianapolis and a brother, Paul B. Dougherty.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. April 21, 2014 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Arrangements by Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
