Betty Jane Krebs, 89, of Indianapolis, passed away April 18, 2014
at her residence. Born April 13, 1925 in Danville, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late James and Mattie Douglas Steele. She married Leslie Krebs on November 25, 1943 in Indianapolis. She was a homemaker and attended Pilgrim Chapel Church in Indianapolis.

She is survived by two sons, Leslie Adam and Harold Lee Krebs;
three daughters, Sharon Skaggs, Diana Klose and Patricia Ann Arnes; two brothers Harry Hinkle and Donald Steele; three sisters, Beverly McBeth, Sharon Cox, and Phyllis Steele; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great - grandchildren and three great - great - grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, James and Robert Hinkle, a sister Genevieve Newell and a great - great grandson Zachary Weist.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday April 22, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Greenwood. Friends may call from 4:00 - 8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
