Betty L. Sater, 65, of Greenwood, IN passed away October 17, 2013 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Jack and Mayme (Eaton) Miles.

She was a graduate of University of Indianapolis School of Nursing, and retired from St. Francis Hospital in 2005. She was a member of Grove Baptist Church, The Red Hat Society, and The Golden Girls Club. She received "Nurse of The Year" award from St. Francis Hospital.

On June 23, 1982, she married Gary A. Sater in Indianapolis, IN, he survives. Other survivors include, sons, Gary (Debbie) Sater Jr., and Danny (Bernadette) Robertson; daughters, LeAnn (Chris) Beasley,
Christie (Gary) Rowe and Angie (James) Whitney; brothers, Jack and Charles Miles; sisters, Linda Moore, Evelyn (Frank) Miles, and Levenia (Gerald) Westgerdes; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by, her parents; a brother, Buddy Miles and a sister, Shirley Grider.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 19, 2013, 10:00 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. S.R. 135, Greenwood, IN. Visitation Friday from 4 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, IN.
