Obituary

Betty L. Schulz, 92, of Jasonville passed away April 27, 2019. She was born February 22, 1927 in Dugger, IN to Virgil Ray and Mary Alice Rutledge.

Betty was a Christian woman all her life. She was a homemaker, a perfectionist, and a loving mother and grandmother. Around Christmas time she would make the best candy and was also the best baker. Betty would plant a garden every year, enjoyed her flowers and loved to can. She could look at the grass and find a 4 leaf clover with ease and was a expert mushroom hunter. One thing Betty couldn't stand was leaves in her yard and if she couldn't find a rake to rake them, she would bring out her broom and sweep them away.

Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband, Howard G. Schulz; 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

She is survived by her sons, Howard L. Schulz and Mark R. (Nancy K.) Schulz; daughters, Debra A. Yates and Minnie Pauline (Tom R.) Rutledge; 9 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and special friends, Sheila, Phyllis and Barbara.
