Obituary

Betty Jo Sutton of Whiteland passed away at home Sunday, February 7, 2021, surrounded by family and friends. She was born August 1, 1941 in Nashville, Tennessee to The Late Isaac and Christine (Wray) Edmunds.
After moving to Indiana, she married Earl Sutton in 1972 and had two sons, Edmund and Anthony. She ran an in-home daycare for much of her life and was very involved with her children. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, taking trips, playing cards, going to the casino, and most of all shopping.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Christine Edmunds; her son Anthony (Tony) Sutton and granddaughter Harper Sutton. She is survived by her husband, Earl Sutton; her son Edmund (Eddy) Sutton, and grandsons Tristan, Isaac, and Tharen.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Friday, February 12, 2021, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Greenwood, Indiana. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.

T he safety of our families and guests is our utmost priority. We ask that facial coverings be worn and social distancing be practiced. In keeping with the Governor's mandate, attendance will be limited to 25 people. We also respectfully ask that if you are feeling any symptoms of illness, please do not attend.
