Mrs. Beverly Jean Pine, Indianapolis, passed away on the early evening of Sunday, December 12, 2021. She was 88. Beverly was born January 14, 1933 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a daughter of the late Harry James and Dorothy Marie (Lepper) Schultz, Sr.

Beverly attended Arsenal Technical High School and was a member of the graduating Class of 1950. She had been employed as a cashier with Sears Automotive and retired in 2000 after 24 years of service. Beverly enjoyed shopping, reading and was a wonderful cook. She had an artistic flair and enjoyed crafts and was an amazing seamstress. Beverly was the rock of her family and her extended family. Her advice was something that she was often asked to give and she was always willing to offer it. She loved being with her friends and was a proud Tech High School alumni.

Beverly dearly loved her family and would be quick to tell you that her family was her greatest accomplishment and she will be remembered as a sweet lady with a beautiful smile.

Beverly is survived by her children, Gayle (Bob) Petraits and Jeffrey (Kelly) Pine; her grandchildren, Brooke (Tyler) Weddle, Emily (Bryan) Quinn, Ethan Pine and Evan Pine; five great-grandchildren, her brother, Harry Schultz, Jr. as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in passing by her husband, Donald Frederick Pine and a sister, Joan Marie Schroer.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am, Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood with Pastor Bob Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 pm, Monday, December 20, 2021 at the funeral home.
