Billie F. Patterson, 88, of Indianapolis passed away April 24, 2018. He was born December 31, 1929 in Jackson, TN to A. Barbie and Velma (Dickerson) Patterson. Billie enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and woodworking. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a supervisor for Chrysler for 30 years. He married the love of his life, Ellen Virginia Patterson on December 20, 1950. He was preceded in death by his father, A. Barbie Patterson; mother, Velma Dickerson Patterson; brothers, James and Wesly Patterson; son, Billy Joe Patterson and great grandson, Caiden Wuest.

Billie is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Ellen Virginia Patterson; daughter, Mary (Dick) Dusenbery; brother, Bobby (Jackie) Patterson; grandchildren, Brian Dusenbery, LeAnn Dusenbery, Kelly Patterson, Breanna Patterson Wuest and Bradley Patterson and 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm with a funeral service at 1:00 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood.
