Billie M. Thompson, 77, of Mooresville passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Preceding Billie in death are his parents, John and Gladys Stewart Thompson. Mr. Thompson was active in the VFW and the American Legion. Leaving behind to mourn his passing, but celebrating the life he lived is his wife, Kathryn Thompson of Mooresville; sons, David (Jan) Thompson, Allen (Marcia) Thompson all of Mooresville, Richard (Ruth) Thompson of Dover, TN; daughter, Charlotte (Jeff) Greene of Mooresville; his loving second family; son, Randy Lloyd of Mooresville; daughters, Christina (Donald) Lee of Mooresville, Alisa Lee of Brooklyn, IN, Samantha Dawson of Mt. Morris, MI; brother, Lawrence (Kathryn) Thompson of Plainfield; 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Saturday, October 25 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, IN, 46143 with the service to follow at 1:00 pm.
