Billy Wayne Beasley, age 71, of Huntington, West Virginia passed away Friday, February 26, 2016. He was born November 15, 1944 in Portland, Tennessee to Elmer S.C. and Mildred (Brown) Beasley.

Billy was a U.S. Army Viet Nam veteran and he loved to travel, watch John Wayne movies and listen to George Jones. He will be missed by his family and friends across the country.

Billy is survived by his brothers, Elmer Glen (Mavis) Beasley of Greenwood and Ronnie (Cheryl) Beasley, of Greenwood; sister, Evelyn Wilson of Orlando, Florida; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Ruth Mason.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service in the funeral home.
