Billy Oral
Dyer
Jun 21, 1973 — Apr 28, 2020
Indianapolis
Billy Oral Dyer, 46, of Indianapolis passed away Tuesday, April 28 in his home. He was born June 21, 1973 in Louisville, Kentucky to Jimmy Lynn and Charlotte Ann (Peterson) Dyer.
Billy worked as a mason in Indianapolis. On September 27, 2014 he married his life long sweetheart, Angela Lynn. Together they raised their son, Billy Jeffrey. Billy was quite a thrill-seeker and loved visiting amusement parks to ride the roller coasters – the taller and faster, the better! He loved camping and fishing, his favorite place to visit was Hidden Paradise. He was a dedicated family man, loving son, brother, husband and father. He loved his family and spent as much time as possible with all of them. Billy was one that always wanted to make you smile. He was funny, with a happy spirit, always telling others to "turn that frown upside down". But Billy would also tell it to you straight, he wouldn't sugar coat his advice. Billy is dearly loved by so many, and will be greatly missed.
Billy is survived by his wife, Angie; son, Little Bill; daughter, Allyanna; siblings, Tracy Troutt, Paul "Tony" (Tracy) Dyer, Casandra "Sandy" (Greg) Reagan, Laura (Roger) Staten, and James "Jimbo" Dyer; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Charlotte.
A private burial will be held Saturday, May 2 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, at 11:30 a.m. Family will receive friends at Angie and Billy's home, 465 S. Routiers Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46219 at 3:00 p.m.
