Blanche Irene Duncan, 97, of Franklin, Passed away February 7, 2015. Born October 14, 1917 in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Theressia (Miller) Brown. Blanche was a 1937 graduate of Center Grove High School, and a graduate of Sanderson Business College. She was a sales associate for Woolworth''s for many years. She was a member of Bluff Creek Christian Church. She truly enjoyed her family, especially the Grandchildren, and Great grandchildren, she was a loving mother.
She is survived by, three daughters, Carolyn Mae (Marc) Poley,
Shirley (Danny) Decker - Hartley and Sarah Sue (Hurley) Davis; Seven Grandchildren, Hurley C. Davis, Sherri Davis - Baker, Lisa Decker - Smith, Tina Decker - Wyrick, Angela Poley - Garcia, and Melanie Poley - McGarvey; fifteen Great Grandchildren, and one Great Great Grandchild. She was preceded in death by, her parents, husband, Olin "Vern" Duncan; five brothers, Albert, Arvey, Carey, Kenneth, and Don Brown; two sisters, Leona Throckmorton, and Catherine Briggs, and two Grandsons, Michael R. Davis, and Scott V. Williams. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2015 in Forest Lawn funeral home, 1977 South S.R. 135, Greenwood, IN 46143. Friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
