Bobby Vickers Mathews, 75 of Greenwood, IN. went to be with his Lord Thursday, November 12, 2009. He was born in Franklin, KY to the late Monroe and Blanche Mathews. Bobby was a member First United Evangelical Church. Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years Helen Mathews; one daughter, Nancy Mathews; and two sisters, Hazel Clark and Gladys Walker. Preceeding him in death are three siblings; Roy Mathews, Bessie Gass, and Kathleen Britt. Family and Friends will gather Saturday, November 14, 2009 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens and Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow also at the funeral home at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
