Bonnie Jean (Tague) Hittel, 75, of Indianapolis was called to Heaven March 9, 2021 from her home, where she was surrounded by her loving family.  She was born April 29, 1945 in Indianapolis to the late Arthur and Marjorie (Hauser) Tague.

Bonnie was one of nine sisters, and loved them to the moon and back.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who loved her family dearly.  She owned her own business as a hairdresser and had many wonderful clients over the years. She spent many years managing little league, first when her children played, and later because she enjoyed it so much.  She grew to have a wonderful group of friends, known as the "Over the Hill Gang" with whom she remained close to to this day.  Bonnie enjoyed fishing and playing cards; any reason to be with friends and family.  Her greatest joy was organizing the annual family reunion so she could keep her family together.  Bonnie was truly the glue that held this large family together and she will be forever missed by many, many family and friends.

Bonnie is survived by her sisters, Rosie, Emmy, Sharon, and Becky; children, Robert (Allison), Grace (Bobby) Johnson, Frank (Dawn), and Mike (Andrea); grandchildren, Christine, Abigail, Alex, Erin, Frank, Eric, Madeline, and Michael; great grandchildren, William and Bradley; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Michael Hittel, Bonnie is preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara, Patty, Loretta, and Linda.

Family will receive friends Saturday, March 13 from 10:00am - 12:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN  46143, with funeral service to follow at 12:00pm.
