Brenda Meredith, Clayton, IN, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023. She was 66 years old. Brenda was born in Indianapolis, IN to her parents Leslie and Mildred Perkins. She graduated from Southport High School, class of 1974 and later graduated with an Associates degree of business. Brenda married her husband, Jeffrey Meredith, on April 2, 1979 and they shared 44 years together.
Brenda worked as a project manager for Eli Lilly and retired in 2016 after 28 years of service. Brenda enjoyed shopping, going to the beach, and gardening. She enjoyed living with her husband in a log cabin where she could easily put her grandchildren in the center of her life. Brenda's husband lovingly installed a pool on their property to allow her to swim on hot days. Brenda loved being able to invite her family over for the holidays; Thanksgiving and Christmas were always her favorite time of year. Brenda's outgoing and feisty personality made her the perfect matriarch for her family. She will be dearly missed by those she leaves behind.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Meredith; her children, Kelly (Brian) Roth and Luke (Jessica) Meredith; her grandchildren, Carson, Mariah, Carter, Cole, Sarah, and Lilah; her sisters-in-law, Rhonda Reynolds and Joy Weaver; her nephews, John Reynolds, James Reynolds, and Michael Weaver.
Brenda is preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation for Brenda will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The funeral service will be on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 12:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at 1:00 pm.
