Brent Lane Bowers, Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024. He was 63 years old. Brent was born in Martinsville, IN to his parents, Twylia and Jason Bowers. He graduated from Perry Meridian High School, class of 1979. Before graduating, Brent participated in both swimming and track all four years of highschool. Additionally, Brent was honored as a Hoosier Scholar and became a member of the National Honor Society. Brent went on to become an engineering student at Purdue and Georgia Tech.
Brent enjoyed riding bicycles in his youth and was interested in repairing old cars. Brent had a soft spot for animals and enjoyed raising his parrot. Brent's outgoing personality and intelligent nature will be dearly missed by those he leaves behind.
Brent is survived by his parents, Twylia and Jason Bowers; his siblings, Brian (Kris) Bowers and Barry Bowers; his niece and nephew, Rachel Bowers and Aaron Bowers; several cousins.
A visitation for Brent will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at a later date.
