Mrs. Brittney Nicole Jackson, Greenwood, passed away on the early morning of Wednesday, May 20, 2026, having attained the age of 33 years. Brittney was born May 28, 1992, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, a daughter of Paula Kay (Dowell) Lomoro and Steven Paul Dombroski.
Brittney attended Whiteland Community High School and later earned her Associate’s Degree from Ivy Tech Community College. She dedicated the past 10 years of her professional life to Main Street Grille, where her hard work, dedication, and leadership allowed her to rise to the position of manager. Brittney was admired by coworkers and customers alike for her warm personality, compassionate heart, and unwavering work ethic.
Volunteering was at the very core of Brittney’s life. She generously gave of her time with the Johnson County Foster Care Program as well as Sugar Grove Elementary School. Brittney found tremendous joy in serving others and making people feel loved and celebrated. She especially enjoyed being an event planner for family gatherings and holidays, lovingly handling every detail for Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, Halloween, birthdays, and countless special occasions.
Above all else, Brittney’s greatest pride and accomplishment were her children. She was a devoted and loving mother who served as a constant role model to them. Brittney faithfully supported her children in all of their activities and sporting events, especially football and track. She treasured crafting with her girlfriends and making memories during family vacations, with Mexico being one of her favorite destinations. Brittney was a member of Emmanuel Church.
Brittney is survived by her loving husband, Joshua Jackson; her beloved children, Bryson Jackson and Lilly Schoentrup; her parents, Paula (Phil) Lomoro and Steven Dombroski (Norma); her siblings, River( Hannah) Tosh and T.J. Dombroski (fiancée, Madison); her grandfather, Stan Dombroski; her bonus mom, Sally Shine; bonus sister, Sarah Shine; her in-laws, Robert and Kristie Jackson; her very special friend, Billie Gant; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of cherished friends.
She was preceded in passing by her maternal grandparents.
Services will be conducted at 11:00 am, Friday, May 29, 2026, at GracePoint Church, 330 West Whiteland Road, Whiteland, Indiana, with Bill Stivers officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 7:00 pm, Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood as well as an hour prior to the services Friday at the church.
